Ryan Leger
Owner/operator of AMP and coach of the men’s gymnastics
team and coaches tumbling and boys classes
I have been involved in gymnastics since I was 3 years old as my father coached gymnastics for a while and all my siblings and I all did gymnastics. I started coaching when I was 16 and have coached at many different places from then till now at the age of 29. I have coached cheerleading, gymnastics and also just tumbling classes. What has kept me coaching all these years is the kids. I love the sport very much but what it’s really all about is providing an atmosphere that both the kids and parents can love and enjoy. That’s why I have decided to start AMP. AMP is all about coaching with a positive atmosphere in a competitive environment. I 100% believe that you can be a top competitor without all the negative criticism and that’s what we are about at AMP.

I’m Katie Beha from Ripley, West Virginia. I competed at Flip Flop Shop Gymnastics for six years. When I was through competing I began coaching compulsory gymnastics. I later moved to Huntington and began working at Will Power Gymnastics with optional and compulsory competitive gymnasts. As a gymnast and a coach I have always favored the balance beam. Its need for balance, grace, and precision amazes me. I am now in my sixth year of coaching and freshman year at Marshall University as an accounting major.

Hi there! My name is Amanda McGhee. I am currently a sophomore at Marshall University. Gymnastics has played a huge role in my life since a very young age. I was a competitive gymnast for 6 years. At age 16, I began my coaching career at Southern Ohio Gymnastics Academy in my hometown Gallipolis, Ohio. There I assisted with the girls’ and boys’ teams and headed many recreational classes for all ages. I am truly blessed to be able to still be a part of a sport that has had such I huge impact on my life. I hope to share my love for gymnastics with every child that I get the privilege of coaching.
